Debatum, a Wiki Approach to Debates and Arguments

Debatum is a Wiki on evolving ideas, debates, and related arguments.

Debatum intends to both emulate and differentiate from Wikipedia, in an attempt to cover the vast amount of knowledge trapped outside the accepted Neutral Point of View.

• In Debatum, arguments are presented as free text (not on Pro/Con or Yes/No columns), with optional colour coding. This allows adding of neutral or background information.
• Wikilinks are used as relational links to related debates.
• Debatum is a reference and an engine for gathering strong and/or popular arguments. It is not intended for competitive debates. There is no voting, and no final verdict or winner is declared. The user is left to to read the argumets, think, and decide, or further edit.
