All WikiSym rooms together, so people stayed nearby
Could be better
Open Space room couldn't been bigger and/or more square
Odense
Worked
All space close together
Lobby-type space with wifi let people stay late into the night
Could be better
Open Space room couldn't been bigger and/or more square
San Diego
Worked
Very big room that could be configured in multiple ways
Could be better
WikiSym rooms were way too far apart, so people were dispersed
RCC 2006 Portland
Worked
Open Space room available 24 hours and affordable (free, in many cases) sleeping room on-site so people could easily go late into the night
Could be better
RCC 2007 Portland
Worked
Huge space (but not too big) that was all our own
variety of seats: couches, chairs
Could be better
Too cold
Had to go elsewhere to sleep (too rustic to camp)
Not a lot of off-site facilities (hotels, cafés, restaurants, bars) nearby
RoCoCo 2007 Montreal
Worked
big space for opening circle
lots of cubby-holes for other spaces, but still under the same roof
variety of seats
Could be better
